I have been trying to start my website on wordpress, I have started off my running through the many possible themes I can choose from. This is difficult because none of them really show what I am looking for, although I have tried out Day dream, Mistyl look, Quentin and Salipsus. At the moment I am using Freshy.
I have been creating page posts and blog posts but when I am trying to organize them I am finding it very difficult. What I want to be a ble to do is have a side bar that has my catagories for instance I have at the moment; 3-D Models, 3rd Year paintings and my theatre sets 2003-2007. I want to be able to click on these and then be brought into the relevant pages. This however is not working and I cant understand how to do it? I also have the option for a number of widgets but am unable to realise what they do, if anything?
My other concerns is that when I want to go to a slide show or images I cant link to flickr or the slideshow options are to complicated?
I have gone into the relevant slideshow options and it asked me to download a program called Bandongo Buddy
I have signed up and put images onto the hosting pages! but am unsure what to do next. It is like the problems i am having in trying to get flickr onto my page.
The organzing of the site is letting me down as I cant seem to get simple explanations from the site. I thought I would be pretty good at this sort of thing because I am no beginnerwhen it comes to computers but this has tested me and at the moment it has defeated me
